This Privacy Policy explains how Intact Intern Stump Solutions Private Limited collects, uses and protects personal data when you use Intern Stump. We process personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form) and your LMS ID.
- Profile data (optional): date of birth, gender, location, education, career details, skills, links, profile photo and resume.
- Content you submit to tools: resumes, job descriptions, target roles and interview answers.
- Transaction data: iSure Coin purchases, memberships and payment references from Razorpay. We do not receive or store full card, UPI or bank details.
- Institution data: institution name, contact person, contact details and the student names, emails, phone numbers and roll numbers an institution adds.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, login times and usage logs, used for security and to keep the Service running.
- Google account data (only if you choose "Continue with Google"): your name, email address, profile photo and Google account ID - see section 3 below.
- Apple account data (only if you choose "Continue with Apple"): your name (the first time only), your email address or Apple private relay email, and your Apple ID identifier - see section 3 below.
2. How we use your data
- To create and secure your account, including sending one-time verification codes.
- To run the AI tools and show you results, manage iSure Coins, memberships and campus access, and issue certificates.
- To send service emails (verification, welcome, receipts, replies to your messages and campus invitations).
- To provide customer support, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Sign in with Google or Apple
You can create an account or log in with your Google account or your Apple ID instead of a password. This is optional - you can always use your email address, a one-time code or a password instead.
- What we receive from Google: when you choose "Continue with Google" and approve the request, Google shares only your name, email address, profile photo, whether your email is verified, and a unique Google account ID (the "openid", "email" and "profile" permissions). We do not request or receive your Google password, contacts, Gmail, Drive, Calendar or any other Google data.
- How we use it: only to create your Intern Stump account or log you in, to confirm your email address so you don't need a verification code, to pre-fill your name and email, to show your Google photo as your profile picture (you can change it at any time), and to recognise your Google account the next time you log in.
- What we store: your name, email address, a copy of your profile photo and your Google account ID, together with your other account data. We do not store Google access tokens after you have signed in.
- Sharing: we do not sell, rent or share data received from Google with anyone, and we never use it for advertising. It is processed only by our hosting provider as part of running the Service, or disclosed when required by law.
- Limited Use: Intern Stump's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Removing access and deleting data: you can remove Intern Stump's access at any time from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/connections. You can delete your Intern Stump account (including the data received from Google) from Profile settings, or by writing to us at the email address below; we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
Apple
- What we receive from Apple: when you choose "Continue with Apple" and approve the request, Apple shares only your name (the first time you sign in only), your email address - or, if you choose "Hide My Email", an Apple private relay address (ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com) that forwards our emails to you - whether that email is verified, and a unique Apple ID identifier (the "name" and "email" permissions). We receive no profile photo, password or any other Apple data.
- How we use it: only to create your Intern Stump account or log you in, to confirm your email address so you don't need a verification code, to pre-fill your name, and to recognise your Apple ID the next time you log in. If you use a relay address, we send our service emails to it and Apple forwards them to you.
- What we store: your name, the email address (or relay address) and your Apple ID identifier, together with your other account data. We do not store Apple tokens after you have signed in.
- Sharing: we do not sell, rent or share data received from Apple with anyone, and we never use it for advertising.
- Removing access and deleting data: you can stop using Sign in with Apple for Intern Stump at any time at appleid.apple.com → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple (or on an iPhone: Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple). You can delete your Intern Stump account (including the data received from Apple) from Profile settings, or by writing to us at the email address below; we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.
4. AI processing
When you use a tool, the text you submit is sent securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your result. It is used only to provide the Service to you, under the provider's commercial terms, and not to train public AI models.
5. Sharing
- Service providers: hosting (Hostinger), email, payments (Razorpay) and AI processing (Anthropic), each only as needed to run the Service.
- Your institution: if you joined through Campus Membership, your institution can see that you have signed up (name, email and LMS ID). Institutions cannot see your tool results or documents.
- Public verification: the Verify page shows your name, LMS ID and membership status to anyone who enters your ID or certificate number. Email addresses and phone numbers are never shown.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, court order or to protect rights and safety.
6. Retention and security
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Resumes are stored privately and are not publicly accessible. We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups to protect your data, but no system is completely secure.
7. Your rights
- Access and correct your data from your profile page at any time.
- Ask us to delete your account and personal data, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Withdraw consent for optional processing, and raise a grievance with us. We aim to respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and significant changes will be notified on the website or by email.
